Log room humidity and temperature — white ink fails silently when the environment drifts.
Below 40% humidity, white ink skins over at the nozzle within hours. Above 70%, condensation dilutes ink and causes misting. Drift goes unnoticed without logging.
A single afternoon below 35% RH can start a clog that takes a week of cleaning to recover.

Read the hygrometer near the printer (not the wall).
Record humidity and temperature in the log.
If humidity < 45%, turn on the humidifier.
If humidity > 65%, run the dehumidifier or AC.
Target band: 45–60% RH, 20–25°C.
